Soon's Inbox explained

When you have a schedule up and running, itโs like trying to herd cats - requests for time off, shift swaps, and conversations about specific shifts flying left and right. But donโt worry, weโve got your back with the Inbox - your one-stop-shop for keeping track of everything thatโs happening in Soon.
Accessing Your Inbox
You can find the Inbox in the bottom left corner of the My Schedule, any Boards you have access to, and the Leave page, as well as on the Users view.
When you open the Inbox panel, youโll see an overview of your own schedule, as well as any Boards you have admin edit access to. (Itโs like having your own personal assistant, but way more affordable)
Inbox Categories
There are three categories in the Inbox:
- Action Required: These are the most important items, as your team is waiting for you to make a decision. Make sure to attend to this list, or youโll have your team members sending you memes about being โthat bossโ.
- Unread Comments: This category helps you keep an eye on conversations youโre involved in without navigating through different weeks and Boards manually. No more scrolling through endless comments like a crazed librarian.
- Awaiting Response: No action from your end is needed. This is a quick overview of requests youโve created and are still waiting for someone else to respond to.
To keep your overview tidy, you can also fold any Board by clicking on the name of the Board. Soon will automatically save your preferences. If you donโt need to keep track of a particular Board, you can easily mute it by clicking on the bell icon next to the name of the Board. When a Board is muted, any Actions Required or Unread Comments from that Board will not be counted towards the total, and a notification icon will not be shown when the Board is folded. This is perfect for when you are part of a Board but donโt have any responsibilities on it. Like being a fly on the wall, but way more productive.
