Weekly hours, day by day, in My Schedule

My Schedule has a new Weekly hours button. It shows each person the paid work they have done so far this week and what is still scheduled, day by day, counted from the shifts on their schedule. Nobody has to add up their own week, or ask a planner to do it for them.

What each person sees

  • Recorded so far: paid work from the shifts that have already finished.
  • Scheduled paid work: the planned work for the full week.
  • Unpaid time: breaks and other unpaid activities, shown apart from paid work instead of padding the total.
  • Hours by day: each day's recorded and scheduled hours side by side, so the long day in the week is easy to spot.

Counted the way planners count

Only published shifts count, so a draft on the board never turns into hours someone expects to work. Wherever a planner has entered actual times, those count instead of the planned ones. Next week's hours appear as soon as its shifts are published.

Nothing for planners to set up

Weekly hours reads the shifts, activities and actual times you already keep in Soon. Most planners are never on the schedule themselves, so the change is mostly one you will hear about from your team. If you are scheduled too, your own hours are in My Schedule like everyone else's.

Also in this release

  • On a phone, Weekly hours sits under More, and a one-time hint points to it the first time you open My Schedule.
  • The hours refresh when one of the week's shifts changes on the board, and again just after a shift ends.
  • Teams that work for clients can now filter the board, and the hours overview, by client.

Open My Schedule and choose Weekly hours. Available to everyone who is scheduled.
