Comparison, updated September 2026

Soon vs Peopleware (formerly injixo)

injixo is now Peopleware. Here's how it compares with Soon on price, planning depth, setup and support, with every fact linked.

Soon wrote this comparison. Peopleware facts come from its own pages, its UK G-Cloud listing and archived injixo pages, linked below, checked . Peopleware details last checked on .

The short answer

injixo is now Peopleware, a German contact center WFM vendor with real-time adherence, time and attendance and consultant-led implementation, priced by quote. Soon is a Dutch WFM for in-house teams, from $4 per user per month with a free trial, with interval forecasting and activity planning. You can start on your own, or the founders and the people who build the product will onboard you and support you once you are live.

injixo is now Peopleware: what changed

On 27 January 2025, in a release datelined London, InVision Group said it was uniting the products behind the injixo name under the Peopleware brand. The announcement describes InVision as founded in 1995 under the name InVision Software, with the injixo cloud product launched in 2011 for smaller businesses. Peter Bollenbeck is quoted as co-founder and CEO. This is a rename of one company, not a sale to a different one.

injixo.com and injixo.com/pricing now redirect to peopleware.com and its pricing page. The legal entity on the imprint is Peopleware GmbH, Speditionstrasse 5, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany, HRB 110924. The offices page lists Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Paris. The UK G-Cloud pricing document names InVision Software Limited in London, and the supplier name on the listing is PEOPLEWARE LTD.

The about page says the company has worked on this since 1995, with 500,000+ users, 100+ people and customers in 30+ countries. The January 2025 release described that span as 30 years. Both vendors are European. Soon Technologies B.V. is registered in the Netherlands and has built Soon there since 2018. That is a fact about where the companies sit, not a claim that one is more compliant than the other.

What happened to injixo pricing?

injixo published starting prices until early 2025 (Essential from €299 a month, per archived versions of its pricing page). Since the rename to Peopleware, the pricing page asks you to request a quote. Peopleware's UK G-Cloud listing, a public-sector framework, shows £9 to £32 per user plus a monthly base fee; commercial quotes may differ.

The euro figures below are what the 2024 and 2025 captures of injixo.com/pricing displayed. They are not Peopleware's prices today. An earlier capture, from 27 March 2021, already used the same shape: a base fee with included users, then a per-user amount, and an onboarding package quoted separately.

Archived injixo prices and the current Peopleware pricing page
CaptureWhat the page showedSource
15 August 2023Essential WFM at 299 a month, with 15 users included and 9 per extra user. Advanced WFM at 699 a month, with 25 users included and 19 per extra user. Enterprise was custom. A monthly option listed 329 (plus 10) and 769 (plus 21), with the base fee paid upfront on an annual commitment. The currency symbol was rendered by script and is not in the capture.
24 June 2024 and 14 November 2024The headline was "Request a quote". Packaged alternatives sat underneath: Essential WFM from €299 a month, Advanced from €699, Enterprise from €2,999. Advanced listed real-time adherence monitoring, single sign-on and full API access. Enterprise listed time management and data residency options. The captured view showed euros.
13 January 2025The same packages, with Advanced from €799. This is the latest capture we found that still showed prices, two weeks before the rename.
6 February 2025 to 28 September 2026peopleware.com/pricing asks you to request a quote and publishes no figures. Captures from 6 February 2025 and 11 May 2026 are the same shape. The live page was the same on 28 September 2026.

The one vendor-published per-user range we found for the current brand is not on peopleware.com. It is in a UK G-Cloud 14 listing for supplier PEOPLEWARE LTD, with a pricing document dated 3 February 2025. That document is a public-sector framework filing. It is not Peopleware's commercial price list, and a quote you receive can differ from it.

Read as a framework listing, it says £9 to £32 a user. The base-fee model is Essential at £299 a month with 25 users included, then £9 per extra user; Advanced at £799 with 25 users included, then £18; Enterprise at £2,999, then £32. The document says this depends on product scope and the support required. Active users include planners and managers who have their own accounts. Professional services are listed at £1,250 to £1,500 a day. The same listing says free trial available: No.

Soon publishes its prices: Start at $4, Grow at $8 and Scale at $16 per user per month, billed yearly, with a $39 monthly minimum that includes 10 users. Enterprise is custom. Trials are 14, 30 or 60 days by plan, without a credit card. Those are list prices on the website, the thing injixo used to show and Peopleware no longer does.

Soon vs Peopleware at a glance

Both companies sell workforce management from Europe. The rows below are the differences that change a buying decision: whether you can see a price, whether you need real-time adherence and a time clock, and who runs the setup. A blank or a "not offered" is a product boundary, not a criticism.

Which one fits

Choose Peopleware if you need real-time adherence, time and attendance and long-term capacity planning, and you want a consultant-led rollout from a vendor with more than 30 years in workforce management. Choose Soon if you're an in-house or BPO team of roughly 10 to a few hundred that wants published prices and a free trial, plans mixed work by the interval, works in Outlook and Microsoft 365, and wants to talk directly to the people who build the product. Soon works with multi-client operations. That is not a separate product.

Where Peopleware is the better choice

Peopleware is the clearer fit when the job is a contact center, and the missing pieces are adherence against the ACD, a time clock, and a long-range headcount plan in the same product. Its homepage lists Forecasting, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Intraday Management, Time Off Management, and Time & Attendance as modules. Intraday is described as adapting schedules in real time. The G-Cloud listing adds adherence monitoring with warning thresholds at individual and team level, forecast recalculations every 15 minutes, and multi-skill, multi-activity configuration. Real-time adherence and a time and attendance module are the pieces Soon does not offer.

The connector list is wide. The integration listing showed about 50 systems on 28 September 2026, including 8x8, Amazon Connect, Aspect, Avaya, Cisco, Five9, Freshworks, Intercom, LivePerson, Mitel, NICE inContact, Salesforce, Talkdesk, Twilio, UJET, Vonage and Zendesk. CSV, ODBC and a REST API are described on the integrations page. Genesys does not appear in that listing. That is not the same as "Peopleware cannot integrate with Genesys". Ask them, and ask what the feed actually contains.

Setup is consultant-led. The implementation page describes three phases, Commit, Build and Adopt, including a consultant-led walkthrough before go-live. It does not publish how many weeks that takes. The integrations page describes setup guided by WFM experts and dedicated integration specialists. For a multi-site, multi-skill operation that wants that kind of project, the quote and the services days are the buying model, not a drawback.

There is also a track record and a training catalogue. Since 1995, with the user and country counts above, is a long time in this category. The education module is e-learning powered by The Call Center School, covering workforce management, quality assurance and customer service topics. Soon does not offer an equivalent course library.

Where Soon is the better choice

Soon fits an in-house or BPO support or service team, roughly 10 people up to a few hundred, including teams that plan work for more than one client. That is not a separate product. It is for teams that want to see the price and try the product before a sales cycle. Start is $4, Grow is $8, Scale is $16 per user per month billed yearly, with a $39 minimum that includes 10 users. The trial is 14, 30 or 60 days by plan, and it does not ask for a credit card. Peopleware's website does not show a figure, and its G-Cloud listing says no free trial.

The planning model is the interval, not only the shift. Forecasts run at 15-minute, hourly or daily intervals, up to a year ahead, and contact workloads use Erlang C or Erlang A. Forecasting is included on Scale. From a forecast, Soon builds staffing requirements you schedule against. That is not the same object as Peopleware's Capacity Planning module, which is a separate long-term headcount and budget comparison. If you need that module by name, Peopleware is the one that publishes it.

Inside the day, Soon plans activities in the shift: phones, email, back office, training. Activity scheduling is on Start, staffing requirements on Grow, and automated activities plus coverage tracking on Scale. Automated shift scheduling starts on Grow. This is re-planning the work inside a day. It is not real-time adherence against an ACD, and Soon does not offer that. There is also no time and attendance module and no time clock.

For Microsoft 365 teams, Soon lists two-way Outlook sync, sign in with Microsoft, and listing on the Azure Marketplace. Shift swaps and cover requests are on every plan. On contact-center platforms, the directory marks Genesys, Amazon Connect, Intercom and Dixa as available on request. With Genesys, Soon forecasts from your Genesys call volumes. That works today and needs some manual setup. If your ACD is Avaya, Cisco or NICE inContact, Peopleware's published listing is the longer one.

Data location is ordinary to state and easy to overclaim. Soon's database and backups are on AWS in Ireland (eu-west-1). Intercom and Sentry process data in the United States. Peopleware's G-Cloud documents place the service in Amazon EC2, and the 2024 injixo Enterprise package listed data residency options. Neither fact makes one vendor "more European".

Teams that plan phones and tickets together can also read the contact center and customer support pages, or run the numbers in the call center staffing ladder and the Erlang calculator before picking a vendor at all.

Implementation and support

The useful question is who picks up the phone after the contract is signed, and whether that person can change the product.

Peopleware's published model is a services organisation around the software. The implementation page is a three-phase, consultant-led programme. The integrations page describes WFM experts and dedicated integration specialists. The G-Cloud listing describes a customer success manager who holds business reviews, and prices professional services at £1,250 to £1,500 a day inside that public-sector framework. None of those pages states a go-live duration. Customer lines such as a service-level change "within 5 weeks" are outcomes after go-live, not an implementation clock, so they are not used here as one.

You can set Soon up yourself, or ask the founders and the people who build it to onboard you. On the pricing page, a shift manager at Orkla says the whole team was onboarded within a week. Most teams are live the same day, larger teams like Orkla's within a week, and enterprise rollouts can take longer, mostly because of the customer's own internal processes. Support on the price list is email on Start, in-app chat on Grow, priority support on Scale, and a success manager on Enterprise. Separately, customers work with the small team that builds the product. During Robeco's pilot, Soon added open sign-up groups with minimum and maximum limits. Werfen's operations lead, quoted on the same pricing page, says questions were answered within hours. Those are support stories, not implementation timers.

On either product, the slow work is the same: connecting historical contact data, and agreeing the rules the schedule has to follow. A tool with no published go-live date is not slower by default, and a self-serve signup is not a finished roster.

If neither fits

  • Calabrio and Verint, when the requirement is a broad workforce optimisation suite and you already know you are buying an enterprise project.
  • NICE, when the contact center platform and the WFM are meant to be one vendor's stack.
  • Your contact center platform's own WFM, when adherence and forecasting are already in the suite you pay for and a second product would only duplicate them.
  • Microsoft Shifts, when the team is small, already lives in Teams, and does not need forecasting or interval planning yet.

A wider argument about whether a WFM platform earns its seat at all is in are WFM platforms still worth it in 2026. Intraday management and call center workforce optimization are the terms worth pinning down before a demo.
