Push Notifications

Never miss a shift change

Soon sends push notifications straight to your phone and computer the instant a shift is published, changed, or cancelled, when a request needs you, or before work starts.

Instant, where you are

Real-time alerts beside the schedule

Push works alongside email, so teams get immediate alerts without losing the paper trail that email provides.

You are in control

One clear switch, then exact preferences

Each device has its own push switch. After it is on, every person can decide which updates deserve an immediate alert.

One switch per device

Turn push on for the phone, tablet, or computer you are using. Enable it again on every other device where you want alerts.

Preferences by update type

Keep urgent schedule changes on and mute anything you do not need pushed. Email preferences stay separate.

Reminders on your timing

Choose how far ahead activity reminders and shift-start reminders arrive, such as 5, 15, or 60 minutes before work starts.

Calm by design

A wave of changes becomes one clear update

When a manager publishes several shifts together, Soon sends one summary notification instead of a separate alert for every change.

Notifications are still real time. Soon only bunches a single burst so employees stay informed without unnecessary noise.

Works everywhere you do

Phones, desktops, and installed apps

Push notifications work across modern browsers and the Soon PWA, with platform-specific setup where required.

Phones

Install Soon to the Home Screen on iPhone, iPad, or Android for the smoothest notification experience.

Desktop browsers

Use Chrome, Edge, or Safari on macOS to receive schedule updates without keeping Soon open.

Shared devices

Signing out removes push from that device, so shared computers stay clean between users.

Tip: install Soon to your Home Screen for the smoothest, most reliable notifications.

Push notification FAQ

Do push notifications replace email?

No. Push and email are independent, so each person can use either, both, or neither.

Are notifications delayed when Soon bundles changes?

No. Notifications stay real time. Soon only combines a single burst of related changes into one clearer summary.

Do push notifications work on iPhone?

Yes, when Soon is installed to the Home Screen and opened from there. iOS does not support web push from a normal Safari tab.

Your next schedule could take 2 minutes.

Import your team, set your rules, hit auto-fill. Most teams are live the same day.
