How this library is built
Every rule here is quoted verbatim from the regulator or awarding body's own page, with the link and the date it was read. Bodies whose sites could not be read on that date are absent rather than summarised from memory, which is why some well-known cards are not yet listed. The library grows as sources are verified.
Three kinds of rule exist and each page says which applies. A fixed term expires after a stated period. A cycle requires something to be done within each period, such as 35 hours of training in five years. Some qualifications have no statutory expiry at all, and the regulator asks the employer to set and keep an interval.
Validity says whether a certificate counts today. How many valid holders an operation needs for the required number to be present on an ordinary shift is the qualified cover library, and each page here links to the matching case.
