Soon AI connector

Talk to your schedule. The Soon connector lets Claude and ChatGPT read and manage your Soon workspace on your behalf, using only the access your own Soon account already has.

Connect from Claude

  1. In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Soon and enter the connector URL: https://mcp.soon.works/mcp
  3. Your browser opens the Soon consent screen. Sign in to Soon if asked, review the permissions, and approve.
  4. Back in Claude, try: "Who am I in Soon and which boards can I access?"

Using Claude Code in the terminal instead? One command does the same:

claude mcp add --transport http soon https://mcp.soon.works/mcp

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and authenticate the soon entry.

Connect from ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
  2. Create a connector named Soon with the URL: https://mcp.soon.works/mcp
  3. Approve the Soon consent screen when your browser opens it.
  4. Start a chat, enable the Soon connector, and ask your first question.

Custom connectors require a paid plan in Claude and ChatGPT. Check your plan if the option is not visible.

Good first prompts

"Who am I in Soon and which boards can I access?"

A safe first question. The assistant reads your profile and board access, nothing more.

"Show next week's schedule for the Support board and flag any understaffed shifts."

Reads the schedule and workload statistics your account can already see in Soon.

"Draft a shift next Tuesday 09:00 to 17:00 on the Support board."

Creates an unpublished draft. Nothing goes live to your team until you publish it.

Your permissions, not new ones

  • The assistant can only see and change what your own Soon account can. Roles and board access are re-checked on every request.
  • Destructive actions are clearly marked to the assistant, and drafts stay unpublished until you decide to publish.
  • You approve the exact permissions on the consent screen, and you can disconnect at any time from your AI client or from Soon.
